Hello all! The "new situation" would be me - Rtalon235 . I'll be taking over and giving the lovely SquidWish a hand around these parts while she deals with much more important issues elsewhere. I appreciate her giving me the chance to help out, and I look forward to dealing with everyone!

This page was created so that contests all over DA could be found easier.
Sorta like a one-stop solution instead of searching the complicated and crowded news section.
All contests are featured with the nearest deadlines being first for your convenience.

How to be featured

Yes, you must have a deadline date in order for your contest to be featured. No exceptions.

Rules

We will no longer be featuring any contests with undecided deadlines, as it has proven to be quite problematic so far.
(mostly because people forget to note us with their updates, and its a huge pain in the ass to have to go to their page and search for the updated information)
After the deadline is passed, your contest will be removed from the list to make room for all the others-therefore, we must be noted with any extensions that you give so that we can continue to feature you until the contest is officially over.
We are not responsible for the removal of your contest if you have failed to notify us of any extensions.
Do not leave a comment in our comment box with links to your contest information.
Why?
Because it defeats the purpose of this contest page.
All you have to do to be featured is note us with your contest information.
Please follow the rules like we ask, or we will not be featuring your contest.
All comments with links will be hidden.
If we featured you then it is required for you to return the favor and feature our icon in your journals!
Advertising our icon in your journals would be a great help in making us, and everyone we feature a success.
If you fail to feature our icon, you will be sent a note as a reminder.
If you still fail to comply after being reminded, then we will remove your contest from the featured list.
SquidWish is also willing to do a free commission in exchange for a one year subscription donation for our page.

It serves as a one-stop solution for everyone's contest needs.
1. It lists the contests with the earliest deadlines first instead of by popularity so that EVERYONE has a chance.
2. It serves as an easy to browse contest gallery because it features ONLY ongoing contests instead of news/contest winners/art thief notifications/etc like the news section does.
3. It is not a club, so no watching/commenting/etc is necessary.
We simply are looking to make DA a little more convenient for all deviants.
Please take a look at our rapidly growing contest list!
If your contest is not on our list, please feel free to note us with a link to the contest, and the deadline date so that we can feature it for you. After the expiration of the deadline, however, the contest will be removed from the list to make room for all the others, so we need to be noted with any extensions that have been given out.
